The most common tooth extraction incident is wisdom tooth extraction. Sometimes our jaws are too small to fit the wisdom teeth, which can lead to headaches, jaw pain, infected gums, decay, crowding, and structural damage to your teeth. After your dental examination and your x-ray examination, Dr. Celio will decide whether or not they should be removed.

Extractions may also be recommended where there is extensive decay or fracture of the tooth into the root.
